Vikowski is not a new name to our readers or to the European audience. But for those who skipped classes, Vikowski is minimal, "deep", indie, (synth)pop and more, coming from Italy.

The story started in Rome in 2015. After a 3-songs-Ep and 30 concerts throughout Europe, Vikowski found new life in Milan where, together with producer Fabio Grande (I Quartieri, Colombre), he recorded its debut album "Beyond the Skyline", released in March 2017. by Costello's Records.

After the release party, in march 2017. in Milan, he went on a 60-gigs-tour that, during 2017. and 2018. Vikowski shared stages of some of the most important European venues with some important international bands such as Public Service Broadcasting, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Rachel Sermani and more.

During 2019. and 2020. he worked on his new record, meant to be released in 2021. And here we are today with it's comeback single "The Dentist".

"Right now I am not sure about the date a next single will come out; probably there will be a second one in March a third in April suddenly before the album in May", Vikowski says about the near future plans. Few years have passed, his music evolved and it's more mature now.  So, let's see what "The Dentist" has to offer.

The new track is a song where the piano melody reigns as sovereign, with synth waves embracing the evolution of the track and the deep warm vocals that feature Vikowski's music.

The song is about friendship, the true one. It talks about two friends who shared their teenage years and found themselves being apart taking different life paths. Whenever they get the chance to talk to each other it feels like nothing changed; they are always there for each other. It is definitely a nostalgic song, mood always recurring in Vikowski's world, however it does give a positive feeling. So let's dive in...
